22 DAYS TO OOAK WINTER 2021

The beginning of the month means payouts from the previous month :D SO, I got some more admin stuff done & finally purchased insurance for the show. One of a Kind partners with Duuo (not sure if it's with all their events), and vendors are provided with a preferred rate. I paid just shy of $200 CAD with tax for my 9-square-foot space. It's been a little crazy to think about how these fees add up. The initial expense for a show this size isn't a walk in the park for a lot of people (including myself), so it's completely understandable when people wait a few years before vending at One of a Kind. Heck, I'm almost 4 years into my business and this is my first show!

In the spirit of saving where I can, I went to Dollarama today to look at some options for display stands and found pieces that could be great for adding dimension to different layouts. I am quite accustomed to shopping at Dollarama and repurposing things for business use. As an example, the stand you see in this photo is actually the bottom side of a drawer organizer. I like putting my crystals at different levels to keep them from blending into a sea of confusion for buyers lol.

If you want to see some of the other pieces I picked up, head to my TikTok or Instagram :)
